My Little Black Dress For Less!

This holiday season I figured I couldn't go wrong with a black dress.. Black seems to be the new Red and Green this Holiday Season.


The dress from Wet Seal, I bought this a few months back for only $10!

The shoes I got from our local Navy Exchange on the clearance rack for $12

Then of course I needed to add a little glam, so I got my nails done at our local
Wal-Mart's nail salon for $20.00

$42 total spent on my holiday dress!
Not bad huh? Its easy to do just look for items before the holiday and you too can be in style for that special Holiday party or get together!

As for jewelry I haven't decided.. I know I have my diamond earrings from Mother's Day but I need to find earrings and a nice necklace!

I'll show a picture of my nails tonight, cause that's when I'm getting them done!

I got the chance to interview Claudia Sullins of Crosses by Claudia.

Why'd you start your business?

The Lord led me to this. I have always been artistic. Writing poetry, drawing, writing stories as a child, making pillows, purses, painting, all things creative. I had my three daughters, and spent most of my time raising them and being involved in what ever they were involved in.

My girls are now grown and I am single again. I recently lost my job due to the home industry, and need something to do. To save my sanity I turned once again to my creative side. I am using my love of the cross, and my love of creating beautiful things. Now if I can just start making some money doing this it will be perfect!!

Your favorite part of the holiday?

100% being with my family. I come from a large Catholic family of 44 members. I have 5 sisters! Christmas Eve, my entire life, has been the highlight of each year. We have so much fun, and all love each other so much. We are also fortunate to still have both my parents, so each year becomes more precious.
